Groundwork provides AI-powered company research reports based on publicly available UK data. The service is accessible via usegroundwork.co and is intended for professional use by investors, advisers, and business professionals.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the extent permitted by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, all implied warranties are excluded.
Groundwork reports are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, or legal advice. Reports are not a substitute for professional due diligence and should not be the sole basis for any investment decision.
Groundwork is not a regulated AML (anti-money laundering) or KYC (know-your-customer) compliance tool. It must not be used as the sole basis for regulatory compliance decisions.
Groundwork aggregates data from third-party public sources including Companies House, the FCA Register, the ICO Register, and the Individual Insolvency Register. We act as a conduit for this data and are not responsible for its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. The underlying data is owned and maintained by the respective public bodies.
Reports contain AI-generated analysis, risk scores, and flags produced by automated systems (Claude by Anthropic). These are automated outputs based on publicly available data — they are not editorial assertions of fact, professional opinions, or recommendations. Risk scores are indicative only and may not reflect the true financial health or conduct of a company. AI analysis may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. Users must verify all claims independently before relying on them.
Groundwork reports reflect publicly available data and automated analysis. We do not make editorial assertions about the character, conduct, or creditworthiness of any company or individual. If you are a company or individual who believes a report contains inaccurate information, please contact us at hello@usegroundwork.co and we will investigate and correct or remove the information where appropriate.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Groundwork, its officers, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your breach of these terms, or any third-party claim resulting from your use or distribution of report content.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Groundwork shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including but not limited to losses arising from reliance on report content, investment decisions made using the service, or inaccuracies in third-party data. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
Groundwork and its content are owned by us. You may download and print reports for your own professional use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time via the Settings page.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
