Groundwork provides AI-powered company research reports based on publicly available UK data. The service is accessible via usegroundwork.co and is intended for professional use by investors, advisers, and business professionals.

2. Not financial advice

Groundwork reports are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, or legal advice. Reports are not a substitute for professional due diligence and should not be the sole basis for any investment decision.

3. Not an AML/KYC tool

Groundwork is not a regulated AML (anti-money laundering) or KYC (know-your-customer) compliance tool. It must not be used as the sole basis for regulatory compliance decisions.

4. User responsibilities

  • You must be 18 or over and have the authority to accept these terms.
  • You must not use the service for unlawful purposes, including targeted harassment or stalking of individuals.
  • You must not attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls.
  • You must not resell or redistribute reports without our written consent.
  • You are responsible for how you use and act on the information in reports.

5. Data accuracy

Groundwork pulls from public data sources (Companies House, FCA Register, ICO Register). While we take care to present accurate information, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data from third-party sources.

6. AI-generated content

Reports contain AI-generated analysis produced by Claude (Anthropic). AI analysis may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations. Users should verify important claims independently.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Groundwork shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Intellectual property

Groundwork and its content are owned by us. You may download and print reports for personal use. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

9. Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time via the Settings page.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
